Slow fashion has been the heart of our journey. At Toru & Naoko, our commitment extends beyond our beautiful lingerie. We foster a community where skilled women artisans bring our creations to life, empowering them with the latest techniques and offering fair living wages. Our atelier promotes flexible work schedules, aligning with our values for both the planet and the people.
We're proud of our partnership with One Tree Planted. With your support, we've reached an incredible milestone – 1000 trees planted around the world. For every order, we plant a tree, contributing to reforestation efforts and a greener future. Thank you for being a part of this amazing journey towards a more sustainable and beautiful world.
Our dedication to responsible production is evident in our approach – we craft our creations in small quantities. Why? Because small-batch production is waste-free production. It's our way of caring for the planet while crafting the finest lingerie for you. You won't find Toru & Naoko in outlets, trash cans, etc. We firmly believe in crafting only what we know will be cherished.
No overproduction means no waste.
Our fabrics are the essence of our sustainable commitment. We embrace eco-conscious choices by using recycled materials whenever possible. We source locally and seek out dead-stock fabrics to minimize our environmental footprint.

Our eco-friendly packaging features cardboard boxes, paper tissue, and biodegradable mailers. We keep it minimal to reduce waste and show our commitment to both your satisfaction and the planet's well-being.
In 2021, we partnered with Terrapass, an independent non-profit organization, to offset our entire carbon emissions for the year.
In 2020, we collaborated with Climate Neutral and purchased carbon credits from a Nature-Based Solutions pool. These credits support four crucial projects dedicated to conserving forest ecosystems in Papua New Guinea, Peru, and Colombia.
Our dedication to reducing our carbon footprint and supporting verified offset initiatives remains at the heart of our mission.
